If you or your student are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911 or District 19 Community Services Board Crisis Line at (804)862-8000.
If your student is not in a mental health emergency, but you still desire to seek community based services, please ask your student’s school counselor for a list of community based counseling agencies in the Petersburg area. (Please note, this is not an exhaustive list and is not intended to be a referral to or recommendation of any specific provider).

Our Same Day Access (SDA) program is the initial point of contact for information and referrals for services offered at District 19 Community Services Board. No Appointments are required.

Children's Regional Crisis Services (CReST)
CReST is a resource for children ages 5 - 18 or adults ages 18 & older who are in crisis and need help avoiding psychiatric hospitalization. With quick response and assistance connecting to on- going services, CReST works to reduce the cycles of crises and prevent the need for more intense care.
